Let’s get a couple of things out of the way. Publico Kitchen & Tap is not your average restaurant. It’s not your average neighborhood bar. Instead, it’s something entirely new and different: a hip new Five Points restaurant featuring Lat-Asian cuisine, 54 taps including over 45 craft beers, wine on tap, Draft house cocktails and margaritas! We host happy hours and have an AWESOME patio with plenty of space for you to enjoy it all!

You’ll see how different we are when you first walk inside. Our eclectic style creates the perfect atmosphere for all of lifes events, whether a first date, birhtday, work meeting or anniversary you know Publico has you covered. Start your night off with a cold local brew and some chips and guac and then try a few of our tacos.

Publico is your restaurant. It’s your night. Do what you want, and above all, enjoy yourself.

For those in the Columbia, SC area, Publico Kitchen & Tap is the taco restaurant in Five Points to visit. We are even a dog friendly, meaning you can bring your favorite companion along with you to dinner. We have a specialty menu for them, so they don't feel left out while you are eating and savoring a margarita.

Of course, the atmosphere is only part of what makes us so different. The other part would have to be the food.

You won’t find sad, limp, freeze-dried produce and meats here. Everything we prepare for you is fresh and local, grown organically or raised on a humane farm. We have a huge selection of tacos, but you have way more options than just beef, guacamole and pico de gallo. Try our cochinita pibil "Carnitas" taco stuffed with chipotle slaw, slow braised shredded pork, pineapple pepper relish and topped with cilantro crema and pickled red onion, Or try one of our signature Ramen Bowls such as our Spicy Beef or Tofu Ramen! We also have awesome burgers, salads, poke & sandwiches such as our cuban and famous pollo de fuego! Hungry yet!?!
